[Nissan Forecasts Increased Net Loss Due To Declining Sales And Asset Impairments] Nissan Motor Corp. Announced Thursday It Expects A Net Loss Of 700 Billion To 750 Billion Yen ($4.9 Billion To $5.3 Billion) For The Fiscal Year Ending March, Significantly Higher Than Its Previous Projection Of 80 Billion Yen. The Japanese Automaker Attributed The Increased Loss To Declining Sales And Over 500 Billion Yen In Asset Impairments Following A Review In North America, Latin America, Europe, And Japan. Nissan Noted It Expects To Maintain A Solid Cash Position With Nearly 1.5 Trillion Yen In Net Cash And 3.4 Trillion Yen In Liquidity.
